MY SCHOOL LIFE

 My school life is the best time of our life as we make teachers, new friends, learn new things and build our career there. Everyone keeps on saying that school life is the best time of our life's. My school life was spent in tow schools.

KG/MW/BALAWATHGAMA M.V.

My first school is KG/MW/ Balawathgama M.V. It is my second mother. I entered this school in 2006. It is located in the small village of Balawathgama in Mawanella area of Kegalle district. My school is very beautiful. As I think there are 850 students and 45 teachers in our school. Rohini Iddamalgoda is the my school principal.

I studied in this school in grade 1 to grade 11. During in that time I participated in many school competitions and I have achieved some victories in this school. they are folk songs competitions, hand writing competitions, English language competitions like that.  And also, I have participated in many musical programs at my school. I was a member of this school eastern band for 3 years. I played flute in this band. As well as I worked as a prefect in this school. After that I passed the O/L exam from this school in 2016 and I went to Kegallu Balika vidyalaya for A/L exam.

KG/KEGALU BALAIKA VIDYALAYA

I t is my second school in my life. It is located in Kegalla district. That is one of the top school in this area. I entered this school in 2017. And also, I think, more than 2500 students are currently studying in this school and more than 100 teachers are teaching here. 

 I also participated in group singing competition in this school. With that, we got all-island 3rd place in 2018. It is one of the achievements that I have achieved in my life. And I was a member of this school's eastern band for a short time. I played flute in that band. I am very happy about it.

 

In 2019, I faced the A/L examination. In that year, my results was A,B,C. But that results, I couldn't get admission to the university. So I appeared for the second shy in 2020. That time my results was A2,C1. In that results, I was able to get admission to the University of the visual and performing arts. Now I am a undergraduate in this university.

I got a lot of experience from those schools. When I went to those schools many more people talented children than us. Among them, many students pass the scholarship exam, the O/L exam and A/L exam very well. Actually, those school teachers are very kind person, helpful and love to all students. The principal and teaching staff work hard to teach the children well and make them good citizens of the country. All the teachers at my schools are very dedicated and punctual. They always teach us discipline. 

Apart from the learning great things in those schools, we can make new friends, play different sports and create memories for the rest of our life. The students also learn many life skills like teamwork, good manners etc. And understand what they want to become in our life's. 

So I enjoyed my school days and I'm very proud to say that those my schools.  And still love and respect that beautiful land that I studied for 13 years.💗
